Desiree Jensen

A storyteller for as long as she could string words into sentences, Desiree Jensen has known little else in life. Writing is in her blood and she says not writing is the worst thing imaginable. In addition to editing for bending spoons she is currently writing for Yahoo! Voices, for Examiner.com, and for Press Play Review magazine

When she's not writing, and even when she is, Desiree is listening to music. Her favorite kind of music is "good," her favorite bands as widely varied as the seasons. Her favorite hobby is going to concerts. Recently she has parlayed her love for music into DJ'ing a weekly one-hour podcast on Nameless Entity Radio, entitled the Soundtrack of a Voluntary Misfit (you can find her podcasts on the Nameless Entity website and on her Sound Cloud page. Her favorite band, both live and recorded, is Chicago-based Kill Hannah, to whom she says she owes her life and who she spends every day promoting and supporting.

Caroline Barnette

Caroline Barnette is a beginner geek, avid knitter, and most importantly a dedicated reader and author. Correct grammar is her nemesis; though she can spot it in others, she can rarely perfect her own writings.

Caroline began her journey with Bending Spoons as a friend and fan of the site. She occasionally sent in submissions and slowly offered her services. At some point during this, Caroline became a volunteer editor. Though, really no one is sure when or how it happened.

When not spending her time in the Bending Spoons world or reading, Caroline spends her time drowning in yarn, cursing her word processor, using her Linux box as a tool for world domination, and generally exaggerating her life.

You can find Caroline's original bending spoons submission, included in the 2006 Spoonful of Imagination anthology, here.
